Enviromental Contact
Font
The WOODPECKER Demo font was chosen for the "Trees For Cities" project due to its natural and organic feel, which aligns perfectly with the environmental focus of the initiative. The font’s texture and form evoke images of wood and nature, enhancing the connection to trees and greenery. Additionally, the WOODPECKER Demo font is bold and eye-catching, making the name "Trees For Cities" easily noticeable and readable from a distance. This ensures that the message stands out, effectively grabbing the attention of potential supporters or participants.
Palette
These colors create a warm, earthy palette that aligns well with the Trees for Cities theme, emphasizing nature, sustainability, and an inviting feel.
Sketches
The sketch of this package highlights its simplicity and functionality through a clean, rectangular shape with minimal folds, making it easy to assemble. The design includes corner tabs and a hinged lid for secure closure, ensuring the package stays intact while providing effortless access.
Seed Pack Dieline
Seed pack, used in donation campaigns where supporters receive seeds as a token of appreciation. The design is structured as a flat layout, ready to be folded into a small package that can securely hold seeds.
Seed Pack Final
This seed package is designed for the "Trees for City" project and is given to donors as a thank-you gift for their contributions. It includes a small packet of seeds along with clear planting instructions on the back, making it both a meaningful and practical gift that promotes urban reforestation efforts. The package’s design aligns with the project's eco-friendly mission, creating an engaging experience for donors while encouraging them to plant and grow their own trees.
Dieline
This dieline represents a simple rectangular box with a hinged lid, designed for a minimal yet functional package. The layout includes four corner tabs for secure assembly, with rounded corners on the top flaps for a smooth closure. The design is focused on clean lines and efficient folding, adhering to a minimal approach while maintaining structural integrity and ease of use.
First Iteration
The front cover appeared cluttered, which made it difficult to focus on key elements. Additionally, the logo was pushed to the background, reducing its visibility and diminishing its impact as a central branding element. The design would benefit from a cleaner layout that gives the logo more prominence and creates a balanced visual hierarchy.
Final Design
The design leverages eco-friendly materials and emphasizes the importance of tree planting in urban areas. By incorporating vibrant and nature-inspired graphics, the package captures attention and effectively communicates the environmental message, encouraging community involvement and support for urban greenery.
