Minimal design has always intrigued me, as it shows how powerful a simple shape or line can be in shaping an idea. Inspired by this concept, I wanted to create a brand that not only embraces this clean, understated aesthetic but also captures who I am as a designer—focused on clarity, purpose, and intentionality.

I chose Leelawadee for my personal brand because of its clean, modern appearance that reflects my minimalistic approach to design. The font’s smooth, rounded edges and balanced proportions convey simplicity and clarity, which are key elements in my design philosophy. Its versatility allows it to work well across different mediums, whether in print or digital, and aligns with the understated elegance I aim to express in my work. I selected this combination for my personal brand because it creates a sense of balance and cohesion. The lighter tone brings an approachable and fresh energy, while the deeper tone adds a layer of professionalism and trust. Together, they create a dynamic contrast that reflects both the creative and grounded aspects of my work. This pairing enhances visual interest without overwhelming the design, making it versatile and adaptable across various applications, while still maintaining a clean, minimalist aesthetic.

Sketches

By sketching out my name and initials, experimenting with different shapes, strokes, and sizes to explore various design possibilities. Using a pencil, pen, and marker allowed me to see how different textures would impact the look and feel. From there, I started incorporating my name and title, playing with placement to create a design that felt truly my own. My approach was focused on finding the right balance of shape and monogram to represent my personal brand.

Digital Drafts

After my initial sketches, I transitioned to digital, refining the shapes and strokes I had experimented with earlier. I continued to explore different sizes and textures digitally, ensuring the design maintained the same fluidity and personal touch as my hand-drawn versions. I carefully adjusted the placement of my name and title, aiming to create a balanced, cohesive design. My focus remained on crafting a clean, modern monogram that represents my personal brand while staying true to the minimalist approach I value.

My logo is a creative fusion of the letters "p" and "a" using the BD Colonius font. The design merges these two characters into a single, cohesive symbol that reflects my initials, blending simplicity with distinctiveness. This approach not only showcases my name but also emphasizes a clean and minimal aesthetic, aligning with my brand's identity and style.

My logo features an abstract monogram that integrates my initials into a bold, geometric design. The curved lines and circular shape symbolize creativity and fluidity, while the structured form adds a sense of professionalism and balance. The combination of the monogram with my full name in a clean, modern font creates a seamless connection between personal identity and my work as a graphic designer. The thoughtful use of color enhances the design’s clarity and reinforces the minimalist yet impactful aesthetic that defines my personal brand.

Logo Lockup

In my branding, the logo lockup is carefully designed to ensure that all elements, such as the symbol, wordmark, and tagline, maintain a cohesive and unified layout. This arrangement allows for a clear, consistent presentation of my brand identity across various platforms and media. The lockup establishes a fixed relationship between these elements, with consistent spacing, alignment, and proportion.

The purpose of this approach is to create visual harmony, making the logo adaptable for multiple uses, whether on business cards, website headers, merchandise, or social media profiles. By setting clear guidelines for the logo lockup, I can ensure that my brand remains consistent, memorable, and easily recognizable, regardless of the context in which it appears.
